Proper Storage Conditions for Windshield Washer Tablets
1. Keep Away from Moisture
The most important rule is to prevent any moisture from reaching the tablets. Since they are formulated to dissolve in water, even minimal humidity can cause them to soften, crack, or dissolve prematurely. Ideal packaging: ZIP-lock bags, screw-cap jars, or thick protective film.
2. Store at a Moderate Temperature
Recommended temperature range: 15°C to 30°C Excessive heat may cause the tablets to break, deform, or stick together.
3. Avoid Direct Sunlight
Direct sunlight can lead to discoloration and may reduce the effectiveness of the active ingredients. It can also make the tablets drier and more brittle.
4. Keep Away from Strong Chemicals
Do not store the tablets near strong acidic or alkaline chemicals. These substances may release vapors or humidity that could affect the tablets.
5. Store in the Original Packaging
After opening, ensure the package is tightly sealed, or transfer the tablets into a moisture-proof ZIP-lock bag. Avoid storing them in unprotected drawers or containers.
